Just last year we set-up a primary debit for repayments you need to take from my TSB present account to stay my post-office charge card costs monthly. While seeing my daughter in Australia we signed into my bank-account and found that no repayment had been taken. We instantly ended utilizing my bank card.
On my go back to Britain we moved to the local postoffice and paid by cheque the full amount it was demanding – including a £24 cost for late repayment. I complained about the situation plus the postoffice gave compensation.
Underneath the impression the matter was in fact sorted aside, I once more used my Post Office charge card. The direct debit did not work this time around both.

This time a £12 belated payment charge with interest showcased in your statement. Then Post Office said TSB had refused to help make the bank card repayment. Ridiculously at one phase it said your bank failed to occur, though it had managed to pay the goodwill amount into the account.
The post-office explained it had liaised with TSB and between your systems there had been a mistake which was now rectified. As a fresh motion of goodwill it delivered £175.
When I talked to TSB, it turned-out the direct debit had been still not in place. It knew nothing associated with issue and robustly said it had never denied the ask for payment. The problem had come about since the Post Office's systems had not recognised the kind code.
Eventually the post-office admitted that the type code required by the post-office to collect the direct debit payment from TSB was not filled to its handling system. It was today.
